    Install the launcher

    For 64-bit Windows 10 and 11. It downloads the game and installs its updates.

Pacts

Two origins. A new identity.

From level 40, a pact fuses your class with a second origin to form a new one, with its own three paths and weapon. There are twenty-one combinations, and the pact is optional: you can also put off your choice.

The world

Meet us in Ombreforge.

A shared world, real-time combat and encounters along the way. ShadowRift Online is played online, with a keyboard and mouse.

  1. Beyond the walls

    Cross the biomes, fight the creatures of the corrupted lands and explore the rifts. Quests and loot shape your progress.

  2. Find your companions

    Form a party, join a clan and trade with fellow adventurers. They are part of your adventure too.

  3. Prepare for your next journey

    Smithing, jewelcrafting, enchanting, transmutation, cooking and alchemy: six professions support your equipment and adventures.

Before you set out.

Is ShadowRift Online free?
Yes, for as long as it is in development. There is no pay-to-win: the in-game shop is dedicated to cosmetics.
Which platform can I play on?
On PC, with 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. The game is played with a keyboard and mouse. A launcher downloads the game and installs its updates.
Is the game finished?
Not yet. It is playable and still in development: content, quality of life and balancing keep evolving. Your feedback and bug reports on Discord help us fix the issues you run into.
Do I have to choose a pact at level 40?
No. You can keep your class, put off your choice or adopt a compatible fusion. The Character → Pacts menu is always there to review your options.
Where can I create an account and download the game?
On the official website, shadowrift-online.fr: create your free account, confirm your email address, then install the launcher.
